Besides the African Law & Economics Institute where Paul Kibuuka is Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, he is the managing partner of Isidora & Company Advocates - Isidora Law. He has more than a decade of experience in providing strategic legal advice to foreign, Tanzanian and multinational companies, government agencies, diplomatic missions and multilateral institutions including representing businesses in tax and commercial litigation throughout the United Republic of Tanzania.
Mr Kibuuka has represented clients in the banking and financial services; energy/oil and gas; mining, real estate and construction, tourism, manufacturing and agriculture sectors, as well as, in corporate, investment and shareholder disputes.
He brings valuable perspectives and capabilities to deal transactions, and his deep interest in issues at the intersection of law and economics and finance means that he's able to offer a multifaceted outlook on cases and deal transactions.
Mr Kibuuka has a real passion for writing and presenting at seminars and workshops on topical issues. He has published more than 50 articles in two of Tanzania’s major English dailies, 'The Citizen' and 'Daily News'.
He studied Law at the University of Dar es Salaam where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours degree in 2006 and received the Tanzania Ministry of Science, Technology & Higher Education Prize; the Tanzania Breweries Limited Prize; the Sheikh Muhammad Zulfikar Khan Prize; and the Mondlane International Law Prize for being the best overall student in the class of 2006.
Mr Kibuuka completed his pre-university secondary education in 2001 at Kiira College Butiki, earning Triple-A and B ("AAAB") in History, Economics, Divinity & Literature in English. This paved the way for his full scholarship from the Inter-University Council for East Africa.
He is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, East African Law Society, and International Bar Association.

Nancy Kissanga is a Partner of Isidora & Company Advocates and the head of the firm’s Transactions practice.
She brings her clients broad experience in corporate, commercial and financial/insurance law, including advising private equity funds, banks, development financing institutions, and local and international companies on a myriad of transactions and regulatory issues.
Ms. Kissanga graduated from Tumaini University with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 2011.
She is currently pursuing the LL.M. degree in Corporate & Commercial Laws at the University of Dar es Salaam.
Her Transactions practice at Isidora & Company Advocates focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), acquisition financing, capital markets listings and other transaction and regulatory matters.
Ms. Kissanga is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, the East African Law Society, and the International Bar Association.
